Getting stuff out of the Channel Islands

Anyone done it? Seems to be difficult/expensive.

What you looking to buy Tim ? I'm in Jersey and it is hard work to buy items from the UK and also to send items, but we don't have any choice

Thanks, much appreciated, but I'm sorted now thanks. Got the items out using Jersey post and declaring and paying vat.

Did you all know that people living in the Channel Islands do not pay VAT on purchases from the UK mainland!

Correct, which is why you have to declare and pay vat on an item leaving the Islands back to the mainland.
