Dunno if you remember this one, nicked back in 2008

The thieves removed the garage roof tiles& cut the roof felt to gain access to the vehicle, removed the steering lock & pushed it down the road from the owners home in Carshalton, South London

This one also stolen in 2008:

Was in a garage on axle stands, the thieves put a set of 7" RS alloys on the back & a set of GL steels on the front before nicking it.

There was another car stolen from a secure garage, the thieves removed the roof of the garage, dropped down into the garage where the car was & Hiabed it over the wall!

Moral of the story is, no matter how secure your car or garage is, if they want it bad enough, they will always find a way!

I alway's got told you can only use the same force/tool's etc to defend yourself as what they have, So best to have 2 bat's/bar's, beat them with one, then put the other in their hand when their bleeding at twitching on the floor then ring the cop's.

You can use reasonable force to protect yourself and as long as you can justify the level of force chances of being prosecuted would be slim.

yes , they get dragged out of all places, i once dragged a mk1 escort all the way up a garden when all the wheels were seized , (i paid for it and still have it). we have paid for mk1 and mk2 granadas over the years for banger raciing,and lifted them out of gardens, dragged them up drives, even dragged one off a police officers drive when the house was empty, (just estate agents board up), truth is no one ever asked you what your doing let alone report it to police.i paid for all my cars over 21 years of racing and only once got questioned when picking a jag up off a car forecourt so if your a scumbag with no brains then it would be easy.

the law changed here in ireland recently as alot of oap's were getting broke into n beaten, its now in your favour to beat somebody up if your family or life is treatened (not proper terminology) but ya get what im saying....it used to be that if a scumbag broke into your gaf, you beat him silly he could sue you...

a farmer shot a pikey a few years ago n killed him as he was always breaking into his gaf n farm n stealing stuff, he was living on his own n in fear of his life, he served a small amount of time but there was up roar over him getting locked up for protecting himself...as mentioned the pikey got what he deserved to a certain degree....

I know someone with an series 1 RS Focus that is in his Integral garage. The inside of the garage door is plyboarded top to bottom and angle ironed across. I think is chained down and wheels removed also. He's had it from new and it has covered a couple of thousand miles.

Secure for sure but a total waste of a car.

When I had my rs turbo years ago I didn't have the luxury of a garage so had to park it in my back garden it had an alarm immobilizer steering lock gear lock back gates locked.. did all this stop someone trying to take No.. did car get as mush as a scratch on it also No.. thanks to my German shepherd as soon as the dog started barking they was off like fu#k..
