    Generally speaking everybody had them before that anyway. I do have to say though, apart from improving grip on cold road surfaces (below +7°C) and in fresh snow, winter tyres aren't much better than summer tyres, i.e. on sheet ice it makes absolutely no difference!

      I have used them for about 3 winters now & love them. Summer tyres on a BMW in winter is madness really. I never got stuck in the snow last year & felt rather smug.
