Took the MK1 out for what possibly could be the last run out this year to a local Vintage & Classic Show at Shirebrook Market Square. There were about 70 cars in attendance. I went with my local car club "The Little John Classic Car & Motorcycle Club"
I was gobsmacked to win the car of the show winning a lovely trophy in the memory of the show's founder who sadly passed away this March.

Well done! Its nice to win something at a show.

Back in August I won best visitors classic car at a local Jaguar show, Prizes were given out by Mark King of Level 42, he told me his 1st car was a mk1 Escort, other prize winners were E-type,mk2 & XK Jags, but he came straight to the mk1 first
