Just purchased one on Groupon. £265.00 including the WiFi remote. Looks a great bit of kit, not used it yet in-car which is its intended purpose, but have tried it around the house and it is excellent proper tv HD quality.

The only downside is the black requires an SDXC micro card at 64GB. These are expensive by comparison as Go Pro recommend the use of a few types only.

If you want a white or silver www.promotion.com have a cracking deal for in car stuff at £299 plus vat but it includes everything required.

One thing that has struck me since purchase is you are very much in the Go Pro club and all the little add on pieces of equipment like brackets, cables, etc are expensive for what they are !!

I bought the hero 3 black edition in January when i was over the US of A snowboarding in Lake Tahoe. They are amazing bits of kit. So so easy to use!
Bought mine predominently for use with snowboarding and mountain biking. But am getting a rollcage mount and a suction mount for the mex too. Also great for just ****ing about with in the pool or sea whilst holidaying.
Definately buy the black edition, or the new 3+ .... the white and silver cant shoot at 60fps at 1080p (this is handy for slow mo) and its worth the extra money for the wi fi remote anyway!
I have a 32gb micro sd card in mine so not sure about the above saying you need 64gb?

Anyway, i would love to show you some footage ive shot, but i've only ever uploaded vids to facebook thus far, and they compress them too much to show the quality. If i get the time i'll upload one somewhere for you to view, the quality is remarkable!!!

From this video the quality looks great, and they seem to be able to take a bang without any problems, nice sound of a V8 too

Sadly it also shows, painting air vents blue is not a good idea and drag racing is pretty boring as a spectator sport but doing it seems much the same. Least the stewards are brilliant !

There is a special setting for on board looking out through a screen, the cymbal is like an eye but for the life of me cannot remember the name. Download the guide from the Go Pro website it 's in there.
