Agree with all apart from he 944 comments, very capable and balanced rwd chassis with QUALITY build...Turbo would be the only one for me though.

I had 944 Turbo, 50/50 weight distribution, well built, drivers car... rave reviews from motoring press and was quicker than 911 when released... and close in price... the 924 is the Audi engine the 944 is Porsche...

944 turbo prices will go up...

        For me:-

        1) Mk 11, yes please, classic, heritage etc.
        2) Cosworth... maybe but BMW E46 M3 is better IMHO
        3) Good for track day
        4) Good for holding doors open

I find most people who comment about TR's have neither been in a good one or weren't even born when they were available at the dealers.

I can comment cos I've had a dozen Escorts and five TR7's

The shell of a TR7 is twice as strong as an Escort, the dash and heating are far superior and over a long distance the TR is the comfiest , did I mention they were designed to run on unleaded from day one in 1975 and had a 5 speed box as an option from 1975 but standard from 1980.

Yes they rust, yes they break down but so do Escorts

          A TR7 is a TR7, an RS is an RS .....or a pop or a GL or a ?...
Funny this as I followed you in CAY which was only 140 bhp and I was pushing you out of the way , all noise no go that red TR7 but i still do love em, as there my era as well
Old escorts, better than a pension plan.
