Its exactly the same in the rally car scene, but with the added joke of clowns thinking every arched car is a "Group 4".

There are more and more cars being advertised at stupidly over inflated prices
THEY ARNT SELLING THO
People are just kidding themself that there cars is worth X
A car no matter how rare or mint condition is only worth your highest offer
NOT what you would like / hope it to be worth
Im getting offered more cars than ever but honestly bust out laughing when they eventually tell me what they want for it

Well it's about time these cars came down in value. Over recent years some of the top condition cars have become only affordable to the wealthy. I think it's a great shame when they have got so expensive that the ordinary person in the street cannot afford one anymore. I'm lucky, I bought mine in the early 90's when prices were a lot fairer. I've also spent tons on it over the years, bearing in mind that it was an original car ready for it's first restoration. If I was looking for one today, maybe I would not justify parting with that kind of money even though I love the cars, I might as well just go and find a nice Capri instead!
Prices of parts have been the same too making it now very costy to do a big resto on them. What is worrying is that some cars that will need costly restorations might end up missing out on being saved and instead being used for spares to keep the rest of our cars going.
