Im not so sure stainless is fit and forget, mine has a stainless system but ive now got a rattle from the backbox, probably due to mild steel internals. If its gonna stay in std tune then a std system will be fine. All down to what you are happy to pay

You pay extra for Stainless, but if you are keeping the car long term it's worth it. Material prices have gone up, so expect to pay £300 plus for a full system.

That's cheap. The Zero system on my MK1 was over £500

Ches, standard is the way forward!!!.you know it make sence..those standard systems look good on eBay,ask if anyone has bought one on here??!!..my mate bought a new stainless steel janspeed and it just didn't fit properly,it was a pig to fit,he sent it back and got his money back, but that was hard to do aswell, getting your money back from janspeed!!!!...what a joke!!!..I think he put back on his standard system, fits like a glove,it's been on a while and no problems!!..but it's up to you at the end off the day!!....

i'm swaying towards the standard system. kas754 on here has one and he says there pretty good plus there only £250 delivered on thiefbay.
