Absolutely love this race would of loved to be going this year, but have to be back up to Aberdeen on Weds. If anyone has not been, well you should as its a brilliant experience over the whole 5 days the cars are flat out for the whole 24hrs. Seems to be one of the on of the few races that have not been ruined by the FIA, mainly because they have nothing to do with it....

Hope its okay to post a link to a very nice Scottish man's long interview (Mr Allan McNish) of being a racing driver. Bet you would not get that in F1 or WRC http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...ijIcwWQ#at=620

Only because AUDI got there first and ruined it with diesel power, just like they did with rallying and 4WD with the Quattro.

Don't you mean that they had vision for the future?
You can never stand still in the cut throat world of motoring.
For the last 30 odd years Audi have been one of the manufacturers leading the vanguard with regard to car development.Performance, safety and economy, they have been a leader.
