GUF is going....

5 years ago I sold OYD my Yellow concourse RS 2000 to a guy down south who was always interested in Guf also. We've kept in touch over the years and he always asks about Guf whenever he texts.
Last week he got in touch and asked what would it take to tempt me to sell it.
I said I wasn't interested but everything has a price and said what would you offer "if" I was interested....

Well he made me an offer I could not refuse..... And believe me I tried 7 days to refuse it.
He's coming down at the weekend to see the car and do the deal.... He's only seen it on pictures not even in the book it was recently in....but we've talked in depth and he really wants it... And I'm only 90% certain but I've said yes

I've had the car 10 years last month and still love it to death, it's seen me through some hard times and I've had the best of times in it.... And I think I could easily own it another 10 years, but like I said I think he's offered me more than I could get for it should I put it on eBay or pistonheads etc, so it's going.

One SAD weekend coming up.....

I know its been a hard decision eddy spoke to the owner of OYD many times and has always wanted the green car, at least its back with OYD.

I'm sorry to hear you are selling it Eddie, as I like this one too. I've sort of got the idea that mine to me is priceless, even if I got offered a lot of money for it, where on earth would I find another to replace it, because that is what I would want to do!

I've been thinking about what car would fill the gap so to speak...
And I've come up with either a mk2 Focus RS, Or a mk1 Focus RS a real low miler and a Focus ST maybe an 09 plate in Blue but I'm not that sure, if a decent enough mk 2 RS2000 come up for sale then maybe I'd have that but like I say I'm not positive yet as to what I'll get..... But one thing is for sure .... It's all going on cars/ a car.... I won't ever be without an RS.

I sold two MK2 escorts last year thinking that was the best thing to do and bought a white MK2 Focus RS ..................................
Two weeks ago I bought a MK2 Escort RS2000 , 10 months after selling the 2nd escort , the focus very good car that lasted 6 months its not a MK2 escort
So my point is make sure it's the right thing as money in the bank and no MK2 is not always the best !!
