        Yes the Blue Mink today should be ok. This was a problem I believe created at the factory which was originally caused by the primer being baked on too hard and basically the colour did not stick to it properly! It also happened on other metallic colours like, Silver Fox, Saluki Bronze, to name a couple. I remember many a used car coming in with patches of colour having pealed off and revealing the grey primer underneath. They looked a mess and the only remedy was to give them a total stripdown of all the paint to provide a good basis for respraying again. Blue Mink in it's time was a very popular colour and would suit this early car very well.

          Mine got a little wet aswell . but not to bad

            Cheers Tom, Not a bad little show that. Did enjoy watching the vw brigade going out over the speed hump Really good idea to lower them that much
