Well we have had a roller coaster of a week , on Monday David had a seizure at work ( never had one before ) and ended up in hospital , after a CT scan was done in our local hospital in Oban , it showed his ventricles in his brain were enlarged and there was too much fluid on his brain .
He was transferred to Glasgow southern general where he had neuro surgery on Thursday to put a new drain in his third ventricle and take the pressure off , he basically has had a ticking time bomb in his head all his life .
He's been very lucky the boys In the garage saved his life when he was having the seizure as it was very prolonged and he couldn't breathe , now the southern general hospital have saved him again .
At least he still has a sense of humor as he says ' he needs this like a hole in the head ' !
