While the engine is being re-built, thought it would be a good idea to have the gearbox overhauled, got recommended to a local company and took the gearbox over today. The guy kindly removed the bell-housing and the long bit, sorry not sure what its called, so i could take them away for cleaning, i couldn,t help but ask him, "general condition ?" he said, very good, so that was good news, i also took the actual gearbox housing for powder coating, will take them back next week for the rebuild, i then had some more good news, the local Aston Martin specialist said i was welcome to use his sand blaster for all my bits, so off i went, picked up the cambelt cover, rocker cover took them back and had a great time blasting them, then drove them 400yards up the road to the paint finishers to be powder coated, now my car is in a million bits, i thought it would be a great idea and to turn the corner so to speak, cant wait to pick the first bits up and very carefully push in my new plug lead clips i got from Silverstone at the weekend, if anyone is interested i will try to post some pics soon, The shell is hopefully going to the paintshop 2nd week in September,
