My fuel gauge kept going down the further i travelled.

700 mile round trip, sweet as a nut.

Fuel pump packed up 200 meters from home on sunday night, after clocking up almost 700 miles, lucky i have two on the car

wires OK? check..... fuse OK? check........ tap the fuel filter with a screwdriver.................................................t he pump fires into life, lol, job done

Well my wiper motor decided to pack in going over kirkstone pass. Pulled over removed glove box and dash pod, popped the linkage off the motor, and the mrs had to manually operate the wipers. She complained that it was to stiff for her so i removed the passenger side wiper arm for her. Made it to lowther castle and managed to get it working temperarlly for rest of tour. She's a good lass, made our first tour 1 to remember ha.

My cam started knocking when I reached the heaves took the rocker cover of to find my cam follower was fcuk'd so never managed to take part but had a great weekend 👍

Apart from having to drive with both windows wide open to stop every window from steaming up, and horizontal hailstone smashing me in the face over the top because of it, the only issue was also running out of fuel 2 miles from the end - luckily I always keep a can in the boot

wiper motor packed up 50 miles from home, did 680 miles total, so not too bad

lost the 6" bolt out the bottom of alternator, only noticed next day.

Alternator is cracked
And got a slow puncture
And 4.1 with 175 50 and a 4 speed box wasnt a good combination
Oh and got a bit dirty !

My RS2000 was faultless apart from the wet footwells !

The tow car (Galaxy Tdi )was a pain the the rear !

Kept cutting out & failing to restart, the problem turned out to be the famous VW Audi relay 109 !

Replaced it & all is well
