it has not been a good week for me, got caught out in the rain on a country lane near to an industrial est, the car came on boost coming out of a corner and caught me off guard, (It was like it was on ice)and spun me into a small stone bridge damaging the front corner including all the suspension and steering rack, approx a third of the wheel was smashed off and the remaining embedded it's self into the bulkhead.
I am lucky that my best friend owns his own body shop and came to my rescue with his recovery truck and took it back to his shop, he has managed to pull it all back out and even the wing and bubble arch will fly again ( he has got a top panel beater) even though pulling the bulkhead and floor was a b**tard to pull out due to the shassis skids that i had fitted.
Its been a long weekend but managed to get all the mechanical stuff done and thanks to another friend we managed to get it all tracked and got all the castor and camber sorted as well even though we didnt get finished untill 9:00 pm on Sunday night it was well worth it.
just need to finish the prep work and get it painted. the stickers arrived this morning so it is looking good for the weekend.

glad no ones hurt,,,,,,thats what happens when the ingredients, are wide kumhos , a wizzer and a sprinkling of aqua, and a heavy right one,,,, good job you had proper arches,, at least its all back in 1 piece,,

you need some nice easy power steering then you can catch it quick with the opposite lock nice n quick

Got the electric power steering kit on it (one of my best mods). 5 mins prior to this i was sliding it around having a great time. then i had backed off and was having a nice chat with a mate who was in the car and it took me by suprise.

Kev, looks like i will not be going up until Saturday morning.
it looks like i will have to re build it myself as Leighs bodyshop is rammed. so I will be travelling back from Kent Thursday night and getting straight onto it.
