His posts on FB indicate its not too bad, Pod Fire Marshals were very quick to put it out. Caused by a cracked fuel rail, glad I still have a lift pump !.

bad job but car deffo looks saveable well done to the marshalls. Glass looks clean so hopefully fire stayed out of cabin.Hopefully a soda blast will leave it ready for primer. Did harris red sport ever get rebuilt?

I Spoke Rich and his dad just after it happened , He was lucky it happened at pod and marshalls where quick on had to get fire put out , it does look a lot worse that it is , All panels still line up very well and no Panels warped even the bonnet , will just require stripping back to metal and start again thank god know doubt it will come out as good if not better than before , thoughts with the young fella

A car fires never good but if your gonna have one do it at the pod with marshalls on hand. Hope he sorts it ok.
