I have never had a modern ford to be honest and not sure I would have one, has all been German cars over the last few years or jap pickups, currently my wife has a BMW X3 M sport kiddie carrier and I run an Audi RS4 which is a giggle
I do like the look of the current Focus RS and Kuga but not sure I would venture to a new ford, 1979 is the newest ford in my garage still stuck in the seventies for me.

2001 Escort 55 work van and it's cheap as chips too run . Shite slow but 1.8 tractor N/A Derv power for the win and leaves money in the bank for decent old motors !!! 90mph down hills and 45mph going up . ha hasigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

2012 Merc C Class sport with paddles and latest7 speed box with glass roof for own use ,Sorento Xt for towing large German caravan ,
Ford Fiesta 1.8 TDi with 150k on for tuition as it's one of the easiest cars to drive and Rs2custom in garage with only 42 K original miles on clock .
Don't ever think there is a British built car that I could ever have as best car for leisure
