I like the shape of the current Fiesta and Focus. Don't know what they're like to drive though, by the sounds of it a bit sterile.

    I'd say 60~70% of my neighbours own a F O R D.

Come to think of it they are probably sterile too.

Only ever owned Fords used to run escorts RS,s right up to 1998 as daily runabouts then changed to focus,s. I keep them 3-4 years and then swop for around year old ones.
I've got a mk3 tdci zetec at the minute and like it more than the mk1 and 2 if I'm honest "which I still think are good cars " I work in the trade every day on all makes and they all have there faults but there no worse/better than the rest.
My only gripe is they don't have many extras as standard compared to some and I always try to find one with loads of options my last one had 16 !!!!! I love me toys

My wife drives the Ford Focus CC3, I bought it brand new September 2007 and we still own it today..!! Lovely car and a great drive, got no plans to change it as it only has 30,000 miles on the clock.

Picking it up back in 2007 from Fordthorne Cardiff, and taking it home with the roof down..!!!!

The last "modern" Ford I owned was a Sapphire Cosworth. Past 11 years I have owned a VW MK4 Golf GTi, Subaru Impreza STi, BMW 320d M Sport & my current BMW 330d M Sport Touring. Tbh, wouldn't consider a Ford for an everyday car.

I drive an Audi A5 Sportback and while it's a lovely car it doesn't come with half the toys you get in a modern Ford. Little things like no footwell lights, no glovebox light, no heated front screen, no cruise control etc etc. I was going to buy a new shape Mondeo but Ford delayed the launch of it and now they've delayed it yet again till end of 2014. Before the Audi I had a S Max Titanium and a Focus Titanium and loved both of them but wanted to try something different so went for the Audi.
