Anyone drive or have a modern ford in the household

I was trying to think about the last ford i bought outwith mk1/mk2 escorts and i had a mk4 escort ghia for my wife but thats it.most rs owners i know around here drive audis,bmw.are the modern fords that bad as i wouldnt dream of buying say a mondeo,focus i remember the days when almost everyone drove fords in our street

The only one I'd have is a new Ranger and when I tried to buy one it was hard work so I gave up.

The modern Fords aren't "that bad". Basically the same as every other modern car, yawn.

(My daily is an Alfa, in a vain effort to be somewhat different, and no, it doesn't break down all the time!)

I have my own workshop and i do very few fords so i dont really have a chance to find out i prob get the odd focus,fiesta,ka,or mondeo i would say its mostly german cars i repair.was trying to think of relations who have them and the only one was an uncle with a brand new focus.oh i saw one of the new focus rs wrapped round a pole yesterday in cambuslang young fella looked okay but his car was for the bin

My current daily drive is a 1600 Focus Titanium on a '58 plate. Not the most inspiring car to drive but better than the 1200 Corsa I had before.
I have got a new Titanium X on order that should be with me by end of May.
1600 turbo, 180 bhp and only £120 road tax with a claimed 49mpg combined.

Also the wife has a '61 plate 1250 Fiesta and my son has a '12 plate 1400 Fiesta and they both love 'em.

My daily drive is a Mondeo ST TDCi and it is spot on, full leather, auto lights, wipers etc. and does 600 miles a week at 50mpg

Mine is a Mondeo 2.0 TDi titanium.. Lots of poke ,,good on fuel ,,, good level of trim and gadgets ,,, next car will most likly be anothe Mondeo

ANDY 50 mpg is good for the ST a lot more than I would have thought

My wife drives a 04 fiesta 14 flame in silver nice nippy motor. My focus is a 2000 w plate in green with an average mpg of 28.

My daily is 6 years younger than the escort. It also returns 40mpg.

i work at a ford dealer so drive plenty of new fords every day
