With mine back on the road i was feeling a little pulsing at the brake pedal and i'll be honest i suspected oval'd drums. Eventually i get round to investigate and i spot a bit of rust on the inside edge of both brake discs Suggesting warped discs
So promptly order a pair of capri 2.8i vents. Had to replace a wheel bearing too as the inner race got stuck on the stub axle. Anyhoo all built up this morning and i spot this.
Blinkin disc aint big enuff ! Turns out i have a 260mm kit fitted, lovelly! So i called hispec and asked for replacement discs. He says they are renault 21 items and also need to have the inner hole opened out and four new holes drilled for the ford stud pattern !
Are they off the shelf i ask? No and its a 28 day delivery on those so currently im stuffed, but am taking the other discs to see if the can be saved in the mean time.
