This event was not on the calender of events for the team to do, but Ari needed points so Castrol were approached and agreed to give some funding as Duckhams was not a brand in that country so they (Duckhams) allowed Castrol sponsorship for this event only during 1981

on another note, most of the cars had those silly headlight mudflaps fitted, not often fitted on a mk2, but Brazil must have had lots of water crossings and muddy sections to warrant using them
