Decided thats it after national day

Ive decided after national day this year the car is being taken off the road , completley stripping it down , engine as well, and giving it a resto and going to get a good power engine in there .

Will do it bit by bit as and when funds allow , so it probably wont be out at all next year

it needs various bits and bobs painting on the car and i might as well just do it all in one go , all the parts are allready done just need the shell sprucing up and some more power

The engine isnt that bad in mine , just going to try and get some more power out of it , and lighten and balance a few things

what spec is your engine anyway out of curiosity?

with a better cam and 40mm chokes in the carbs it will make about 170 bhp very easy
at the mo with the fr32 and 36mm chokes it makes 139.9 bhp with 138.9 plb of torque and it pulls very well. nice and fast...

nothing to major , its just that the bodywork needs paint in various places so im thinking i might as well have the whole car painted

Deffo stripping it after nat day , ive been in the garage and had a look at the car today , there is about 6 places on the car that im not happy with and they are spread around the car , so it will be easier to strip the car and just take a bare shell to the painters .
