Old school sun strips does anyone do them & whats your opinion on them

My old red mk2 had none either. I was going to make one out of normal window tinting film so it would be subtle and functional

The main trouble with these strips is, as is the case with my old windscreen, the bloody thing attaches itself permanently after a while.
My Escort had a Burton strip fitted (see the avatar) and I've tried different cleaners to get it off, to no avail. My advice is if it ain't got one, don't fit one...

What did you do with the cage you took out?

Ended up binning it my car is mint inside & god knows how it was put in but trying to get it back out without damaging the car was near impossible had to cut sections

No good when you're over 6'4" - hard enough to see out of the screen as it is...
