Do you know who is driving ..??
This is a totally different car to the Timex car in the other thread.
The base vehicle is a 1300GT but it could well have been using a twincam engine by 1970.

I did have some colour photo's somewhere, although I think they were on a hard drive that failed.

Do we assume you spoke to the swedish fella and he confirmed the timex car wasn't yours?

I'm sure you will find this car is burgundy. Wipers in a different place etc...
So no relation to the black & green car.

Sounds like the car you've got has been a race/rally car in that era but probably hasn't got the providence you thought.

What I'm saying Rob is if James's car is the Timex car (wich may be a later incarnation of the black & green car) then it's not SDF 86F.

I’m not sure about the comment on the wipers. They all look in the same place to me, on all 3 pictures.
How can you say its Burgundy from a black and white photo? However, I found an old autosport mag that covers the 1970 Guards race, maybe there is an entry list and possibly photos or a write up. I don’t know if this is the same car or not, but I’m trying to follow the lead from the comment on the picture.

                              OK.
SDF in 1968 was painted Burgundy this picture is from 1970 so the coulour's could well be Black & Green.
But it is not Bo' Emanuelson driving the car & it was not running a BDA at this point.

The Timex car I'd like to see more pictures of.
As for the wiper positions, SDF looks to have the wiper mounted to the left of the centre line of the bonnet.
Where the timex car is clearly mounted to the right of the centre line of the bonnet.

I'm quite happy to help you prove your cars provenence James, but you need to tell me what the link is supposed to be between the three different pictures you have posted.
