Someone did it to a car i was selling a couple of years ago!
They were asking a quarter of the real price but sending me messages about why i had it up for two totally different prices

what are these people hoping to prove? When someone turns up what are they going to sell them when they have no car?? Are they looking for someone to send them cash and wait for the car to arrive by post? I thought it was cheeky enough someone using pic of my car to advertise seats for sale

I know someone that won a car on theifbay and the seller wanted near half the money for the car via paypal before they saw the car

Usually a Western Union (or similar) money transfer scam

U send money via W.U. never see the goods etc etc

It is a full time job for the scammers so if only 2 a day fall for it then its easy money
