Has anyone got one of these? I'm looking to buy one but there are so many options!!

I'll be getting a waterproof one as we can use it diving (in water, easy tiger) but it's all the the other bits that confuses me...silver edition, white edition, black edition..the list goes on and it's not just the case colour!!

I mainly want to use it in the cars at events where allowed.

We have been using the Hero3 white edition. Originally had purchased a Hero2 but it developed a problem on the first rally so exchanged it for the newer 3 version.
The white is the most basic but has everything you need for the rally videos. The 3 version is wifi compatible so can be enabled from an iphone or compatible phone. Most people tend not to use the 1080p HD setting if downloading to youtube as takes forever to load so dont get too hung up on the better specs of the black edition unless you are taking photos with the camera.
Great bit of kit but you will need to purchase the roll cage clamp for mounting in the car. Think its roughly about £40 extra.

That footage is cracking and thanks for the info. They even do a motorsport edition but unsure if the includes a cage clamp, just helmet fittings and a sucker me thinks (Ooooeerrr). I'll do some more looking and will feedback what I get. It'll be next week me thinks after payday!!
