  • Mountain Bikers :)

Thought I'd post a few Photos of my Mountain Bike as I'm a little bit bored & fragile at the mo.....................
Fell off the Top Step of some 5ft Step Ladders yesterday which prob wouldn't have been too bad but the Ladders landed before I did & I landed on the Edge of them with the LH Side of my Body
I managed to Break 2 Ribs on the LH Side of my Back

Up until October Last Year I used to Own a Bike Shop & have been into both Mountain Biking & Road Biking for the last 18 Years.
I only ride for fun but do like to have good equipment & luckily I've been able to ride some very nice Bikes
Anyway I know a few of you are into Mountain Bikes so I thought I'd post a few pics of mine.
It's an Ibis Mojo SLR which are a Carbon Fibre Frame with 140mm Rear Wheel Travel. You build them to the spec you like / can afford lol
Mines quite a high spec with Full 10 Speed Shimano XTR Groupset & XTR Trail Hydraulic Disc Brakes, Fox CDT Kashima Rear Shock & Fox Talas CDT Kashima Fork, Hope 1295 Wheelset, Carbon Bars, Hope Stem, Fizik Carbon Saddle etc.

    Few Pics

How they are before you build them up

    Hope you all like

        HaHa
They've said 7 Weeks but I usually recover pretty quickly
I was taking the Slatwall Shelving down in the Shop as someone's bought the lot.
I thought the Rear Feet were on the deck but the Steps have a Strengthening Bar approx 1.5" up from the Base of the Feet & this was resting on a piece of 3x2 Wooden Block, so the feet we're in mid air By the time I got to the Top I was on the way back down again lol

Thanks Hopefully I'll not be immobile for too long.
Dave who I ride with swears by the Dropper Seat Post but I need the Layback on mine so it wouldn't work for me.
Yes it is very Social, we go out Night Riding usually around 4-6 of us then nip into the Pub for a Pork Pie & a Pint afterwards

Never Sold or had an Orange (Bike)
There's loads of Good Bikes out there now. My other Favourite are Lapierre the Zesty Model is a good all rounder.
