          , It was jigged. I didnt have access to one like Escort tec, but it was on a jig and every dimension was pre measured from a lazer & logged before any panels were cut out. Every new panel, except where the floors meet the tunnel, are lap joined at the original joints including the 'A' pillars.

          I then double checked every mounting point, with the same lazer measurements, against a standard MK2 with only a few miles on it that had never been crashed or repaired and all was good.
          I also have eccentric bushings in the lowering blocks which let me to move the axle in any direction to align all 4 wheels when doing the tracking.

          As Laurence said, The car drives perfectly & I can take my hands off the wheel at any speed and same under braking.

            Well done and very well deserved, its a credit to your determination and skill. Only the very bravest would have completed a restoration of this scale and to achieve this level of finish.
