She had her operation today late afternoon, 2 hours in surgery and had a 'Four' circle cage implant just below the right knee. When Mrs John left at 9.30 pm tonight AJ was still 'Zonked' out however making a good recovery.
hopefully we can get her home in time for christmas ..............

At least she will be on the mend now ,it is very uncomfortable to wear but as long as it fixes the fracture its a trade off i suppose ,i had the one that needed to be adjusted every day for 3 months to straighten the fractures and i can tell you it was painfull , i used this http://www.robprince.net/ilizarov/fo...p?action=start

she has managed to 'getup' today, first time since the cage was fitted, hopefully a bit of physio / encouragement will get her to use the frame / Crutches to move about on.
still may be facing christmas lunch in Sheffield Northern General though
