As it states they use your real name in the email, so must have some way of hacking ebay to get that information.

Same G Mail adress as a number of similar scams

The fact that the sellers e-mail is included in the offer is the thing which makes me suspicious. Ebay just don't let you get hold of sellers e-mail addresses until the deal is done.

I spent 30 minutes on phone last night speaking to Paul Mendes,from a company in New York,called Saloman and Associates.They were trying to buy my National Grid shares,for some price between £8 and £17 ,but once I went onto the FSA site ,red flags come up telling people not to deal at all with this company,as they are scammers !So beware guys ,5 minutes after this guy hung up ,a woman rings me from the same company to confirm it's all cosha,but I told her my wife was on the phone to the police reporting this scam,to which she hung up !
