Only Caterham, Bristol and McLaren along with Morgan that are Brit owned....I think.
Then there's Ford, Vauxhall, Mini, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, LandRover, Jaguar, Lotus, Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls Royce that are made here but owned overseas...maybe MG as well, not sure if they are making anything yet.
Marcos comes and goes, as does Ginetta.....I'm sure there are a few more specials out there.

Vauxhall was acquired by General Motors in 1925.
Jaguar, Lotus, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce and Lotus are also foreign owned but are British car manufacturers that make and engineer cars in the UK. They just happen to be owned by a foreign company.
Mini, Honda, Toyota and Nissan are neither British nor owned by a UK company.

Cottage industry car makers like Noble, Daventry still exist, shame about TVR though.
It will be interesting to see if Mc Laren can knock Porsche off its perch, mind you it won't be easy what with Angie Merkel making policy for German motor manufacturers at the EU and the fact that Porsche has a "big brother", VW to come along and bloody Mc Laren's nose for it...
