strewth, wet n windy in south wales, lots of localised flooding, roads blocked etc

yesterday was detour day in dorset and somerset with floods

one old dear had stopped her audi in a flooded lane, said the aa could not get to her and had called for the police as she had her daughter and her 5 yr old with her ................. turned ourselves around only to be confronted with a police freelander, an unmarked transit and 6 coppers jumping out to the rescue

i did comment "where's the riot ?" ?????? and "do you know Aled ?"
