funnily enough i have done one on a taxi and it had three different mileage readings going from 230,000,to 47,000

i have used the dvla mot site for a couple of years now getting copys of old mots with mileage on its better than HPI and its free

Not ringing its to stop clocking of cars but i think they are 20 years to late in doing it as it dont happen as much now

What I ment was if some one buys a cars ID (V5) the last known milage would be recorded some where
Then if this ID is used on a stolen car it can be picked up with the difference in milage
Or am I wrong ??

I don't know about that, these digital one are easier to "clock" that the old ones...
