  • Be warned paypal gift payment paypal

    Hi all,

i bought an item from a member on here a few weeks ago which arrived broken. I contacted the member for a refund who then asked me for proof that it was broken as he did not believe me.

Lucky i had the tracking number which showed that the item was damaged and that i did not except it from parcelforce.

Now he will not even reply to my e-mails or answer my phone calls. This is a warning to others that if you make a payment with paypal make sure it is not as a gift as you are not covered.

He will not refund the money

The Member went back on this word and has not refunded my money

They are well know on here which just shows you can not trust anybody. Be very carefull if you are offered parts and are asked to pay as a gift. I think there should be a name and shame for people that mess around honest folk.

I am hoping he has read this thread and will do the right thing but I doubt he will. The part cost 135.00 so you can see why i am ****ed off about it. I sold a lot of parts to this person and this past month I have bought some bits back of him also as he is selling up most of his NOS parts. Everything was fine till this part got broke in the post and I asked for my money back. Now he does not give a shit as he has got my money.

Small claims court is an option after naming and shaming!

If the item was damaged by Parcelforce then the seller should be able to claim against them and give you a refund

He won,t even try to claim the money back with parcelforce. From his point of view he has my money and why should he bother. I just hope that I am not the only one he has messed around.
