Yes indeed stop right there as me and my girls are all going to see it at our local place on "Crazy Tuesday" when it's just £3 each in - not that I'm a tight sod or anything.

          All the best, Neil.

Taking my lad to see this soon, but I'm half tempted to wait until it's out on BluRay so I can watch it on my projector. Last time I went to see a film with him, the picture was really washed out and they have ridiculously bright 'EXIT' signs that I was aware of the whole way through the film. I can watch in 100% darkness at home and the picture is much better for it, even if it's only 10 feet wide rather than 100.

I waited for the BluRay for the last two films so I could see it at home for the first time rather than be disappointed with the poor picture quality that passes for a Cinema these days. I guess all his friends will be seeing it now so I guess he won't care to wait...

I can always buy the disc when it comes out and watch it again: With my memory I'll probably have forgotten what happens anyway.

Where you watching it, the local Rex with a candle and projector ???

Lets face it, modern cinemas are spot on, went to see Skyfall last friday, great film, excellent quality picure and surround sound (as usual).

I have a good home cinema system and regularly watch Casino Royale and sometimes Quantum - with the 5.1 turned to optimum

But you can`t beat a good film at the cinema, you could tell everyone in the cinema were `enthusiasts` as it was well quiet most of the time, and a few cheers - especially when the `Old Aston` is unveiled !!

Personally, I could`nt wait until it comes out on disc

I suppose it's like any hobby: Many people might consider a car looks tidy, but we will obsess about whether it has the correct labels under the bonnet, the original type of tyres, the correct shade of paint. We will seem a bit picky to those who don't share our interest in cars.

I'm the same about AV equipment, but I guess this forum isn't the one to debate the details of high end home cinema: I was just thinking aloud that I'd rather see the new film on my own set up than the (IMHO) inferior commercial cinema (which is digital, but too much ambient lighting due to H&S rules, which spoils the image for me), but my lad will just want to see it ASAP, so that's what we'll do.
