We're not talking about a little bit of understeer when you push on .

The focus is a great car but 300 hp is too much through the front wheels to be an effective road car. Good road car absolutely great no.

ok Kev, if you insist ...............

1. Focus or Fiesta ................ lighten the body shell like a Renault Clio etc
2. stick some harder springs on each corner
3. upgrade the engine with a cam / exhausts
4. arch kit, front bumper remould (which is all that a modern focus has got !!!)
5. Recaro interior in black only
6. some nice alloys
7. some funky colours
8. call it an RS
9. can it be that difficult ?

RS history just seems to be forgotten about these days - thru europe they'd sell like hot cakes/croissants/strudel

modern stuff is just over developed and over priced -

put it this way, they sold enough of a mildly modded car back in the 70's and 80's .............. why can't they tap into that again

ON further thought about this. why doesn't ford at least do RWD which toyota and subaru are doing using the same platform.

Do like the BRZ but would like it even more in an STI!

Would be great to see Ford go back to there roots with RWD or as mentioned even a performance RS with 4WD again... do it Ford!... You know it makes sense!

Why cant Ford get someone in to design the next RS that knows what they are doing

Ideally make it RWD but if not then 4WD but not FWD
