  • Modified insurance.

I know it's been asked before re standard cars, but mine is heavily modified, n/a cossie ,linked rear , cage etc etc etc. Can anyone with a "modified car" give me any pointers on who to use and what to expect to pay. Insurance due soon Cheers!

I pay just about 4 times that to insure the Duratec powered Escort, fully comp. But it's a £40,000 agreed value, plus £10,000 of spares, also has a limited mileage of 2000 miles a year and a £1,000 excess. Had to take a number of photos of the car and list all the spares too. The cover is for two places of storage, my garage at home and at the workshop of the company who do the preparation work I can't do.
              It's with REIS.
