Great part of the world when I was in the RAF we used to stay at the Navy accomodation in Balmacara and had some great sub aqua expeditions

Ebinburgh Or Glasgow , no much up there but fast roads for bikes

Hebridean Hotel in Broadford for a good meal, good choice and very reasonably priced.
Most B&B's are excellent.
Beautiful part of the country, you'll love the scenery.

old school house restaraunt in Dunvegan or if your feeling super flush the world famous 3 chimneys over in Glendale..
All my family are from skye
