Got pulled over

Last night I went out for a blast as the sun was out. Pottering round town a blue skoda slotted in behind me and started following then all the lights started flashing so I pulled in. The two uniformed coppers came walking up. Now I'm thinking oh shit are my lights working etc did he see me on that roundabout eeeek. Hello sir we just wanted to say yours is the best car weve seen in our 8 hour shift LOL then were just nice lads interested in old mk2s. And I'm glad really as if it got pinched they'd know now the owner. Still making me chuckle

Lol nice one! I had a riot van stop outside my house a couple of years ago whilst i wash washing it off after a rally, all the coppers got out and spent 5 mins looking and asking me about it

Got stopped a couple of times in my old E30 M3.

On one occasion I thought I'd be loosing my licence. Was deep into 3 figures at 2 in the morning when I buzzed the police car that was tucked down a side lane. Asked me if I knew what speed I was doing. I relied that yep I did. He then told me not to be a **** and spent the next 10 minutes chatting about the car.

I got followed off the road into my unit by a Traffic Car (all light blazing and sirens going) after road testing Cossie Si's car

The copper gets out and explains they had just had a call about a Red CAPRI !!!! driving like an idiot round town.

Well the my brother-in-law clearly knew the car I was in was a Red ESCORT so I was free to go on my way

i was flat out in my old mk1 lotus cortina doing well over a 110 down the dual carraigeway outside chester and as i came round a long bend 2 cops parked up in a volvo saw (and heard) me coming and gave me the thumbs up laughing as i slammed the anchors on. i gave them a sheepish wave. Wonder if it was Aled?
