Thats not good! Is it just there or elsewhere?
Was it painted in the winter? Some booths can draw moisture in from outside.
Theres are a few causes of this but I doubt its your garage!

Concrete garages aren't the best, they tend to be damp compared to timber or stone built (mine is concrete)
Damp storage (prior to painting) can lead to micro blisters but that looks like he's primed and applied topcoat wet on wet.
He's got a nerve charging you £4500 for that, at the very least he should have it picked up, rectified and delivered back to you

That looks like Barcoat underneath, i'm sure Mike the Panel says he had problems with paint lifting when he's used it before. One of the rally lads we know, used it on his Subaru quarter panel. He removed the graphics he'd put on at a later date , and all the paint came with it!

shame to see that, not good at all and tbh, you may have to take it down to bare metal to get rid of any more blisters coming through.

whether its in the garage or not it should not of done that, imagine if it was parked outside all the time, would it of been any better or worse.

Gutted for you mate, glad you got some money back.Cant beleive he admitted not preping it right and for charging you that amount!
If its in a concrete garage especially when you have spent thousands restoring it i would deffinatly invest in a permabag.Well worth the money, ive got one and its great, did a lot of research before buying and much better than the two storage systems that can blow damp air into the chamber with external fans :eek

So,are we saying If you bought a brand new car & parked it in a concrete garage, the paint may peel off I think not.
I also had mega trouble with 2 x bodyshops. All they want to do,is the easy part ie; putting the paint on

Richard, sorry to hear about all the hassle but if he has admitted 'he f'@@ked up,then why not reimburse the full amount He's has £1500.00 of your hard earned cash, for nothing Rant Offer
