Watched this film last night on Sky, Imo quite good, most films with Robert De-niro are watchable.
It's set in 1980 London and Brecon and has a mass of classic cars, Jason Statham drives a beautiful Cortina MK3 GXL and bleedin clips the rear quarter .
There are a couple of Escorts, a MK1 4 door and a white 2 door MK2, plenty of Transit vans, Minis a lovely Hillman Hunter and a fantastic silver Granarda coupe. Theres also a MK1 Capri, Triumph 2.5 pi and a Sunbeam Rapier.
Unlike other films you get a treat of classics all the way through , well worth it I thought.

I didn't get the reg plates though, very strange.

this was filmed in Melbourne and relied on a fair amount clever camera work.

I watched it with my wife and kept pointing out all of the Australia only models of Escorts. The number plates thing was weird and another thing I kept point out as wrong....I think im a bit of a trainspotter.

The wife just ignored me and kept drooling over Jason Statham. Enjoyable Movie with plenty of Australian actors and Scenery.

One of the scenes was shot in my carpark at work.

Based on the novel The Feather Men by Sir Ranulph Fiennes and is "based on a true story" (since Fiennes insists that it is true).
