Ebay advice plz !!

Been bidding on a ticket for carfest, I put an auto bid of £100 when there was one bid of £20.00 on.



Now I`m highest bidder @ £100 but the other bidder has made 5 bids in a 2 hours last night and an hour today, are they auto bids or are they just searching for my highest bid ?

They`ve also bid £100 but it`s saying I`m highest bidder ??

Any pointers at all ?

It looks like they are trying to outbid you Tony.
But doing it bit at a time as it looks like they were prepared to pay £100 but didn't want to if they could help it.

your are still the high bidder as with bids of the same amount the first bid wins.
Whoever looks at the bid history will now know that £100 is the highest bid, because if you had bid more then your bid would have gone up to £101. If the bidding is still going up by £1 at a time.

That`s what I was thinking, as a `charity` event though, are they not allowed to sell tickets for more than their face value ?

Check the bid history with the seller and both people above you are rather high (38% and 50%) normally indicates somebody bidding items up.

Could be wrong, but thats what I've found in the past.

If you are not happy you can retract your bid, type in retract my bid in community top right on your ebay page and follow instrutions and all your bids are removed

I'd leave your £100'max bid .if it's being bid up your get 2nd chance I would imagine
