That's about every thing i have except for some special sa rally ones i am saving, don't want to spoil anything for wayne and brians unveil or mike nevins restoration, hope you all liked the pictures i have posted, and hopefully have sparked some interest into some thing that was classed as a white elephant, but was actually a very good car in its own right,it would be very nice if any one else out there had any other pictures or story's to share regards paul
the amount of info on these cars is great.....its a very rare sight to see so much info in one place about these cars....all other rs cars info is common as muck......great one guys
This how the rs1700t first looked when it rallied in SA,p10 and p18 ran together under the team span livery.
Some of you know I have a conspiracy theory about p10 the famous rs1700t that went to america,if you look close in the xr3 picture p10 closest to the front it has the same parcel shelf as p18,if you look at p10 now the rear fire wall fabrication work that supports the parcel shelf is no were to be seen, was p10 re shelled witch I have found no reference to or was one of the road cars passed of as the famous rally car,if so were is the real p10.
Hi all just realized that i can scan direct to my computer arnt kids smart, this is the report of the only road test of the rs17100t,
and here is a bit of a news clipping about it in a rally
I have spoken to the owner of the RS1700T here in the States on several occasions in the past, he owns several Group B cars also, including the RS200, and a Mk1 RS2000. I don't want to publish his name without his consent, but I could call him to see if he wants to join here and post about his RS1700T as well other cars in his collection.
Thankyou for that offer,it would be great if he would post on here, all massive fans of group b,any light he can shine on the 17t would be great, especially some pictures, thanks again for the offer kind regards Paul
