Local fete

Our motor club had a small stand at the local fete today. Couple of pictures below.
The rally car belongs to Nik Elliott. The RS2 is mine and the Mk1 another club member. Lots of interest and nice comments about all 3 cars.

A famous Reg no on Nick's car from our area up here in Yorkshire ( where the car is built and maintained by Kev at RSD ) , it is an Ex , my good friend and Rally Mentor Mike Stephenson Stivie who sadly passed away suddenly last November , then Banner who sold it to Nick .I saw the car myself the other month and as all the cars that RSD prepare and run is" top drawer" which Nick proves most weekends with his reults

Thanks guys, All the cars generated a lot of interest. Would like a pound for everyone that said "my first car was an Escort or my dad had an Escort". Was nice of Nik to loan his car and even washed it before he delivered it after the Severn Valley stages the previous day.
Well pleased with how my car turned out after the winter resto with lots of nice comments from the visitors to the stand.
