Moved over to the dark side!

After 12 years of having my mk2 RS I sold it & thought it was time for a change.
Would like to say a big thanks for all the help & advise over the years with the car from many members on here.

About 4 weeks ago I bought a S1 RS turbo on D plate 4 previous owners a very clean straight car.No welding done to underside.

Well known car and yes the wheels are very rare now and think they are super.

There again those who know my later S2 will know why!

Yes the car has stayed local aprox 5 miles away from me.
Was talking to a chap in the pub in christmas eve after several beers
& he said his brother in law was looking for a RS escort but didn't know what sort.On boxing day the phone rang & I was asked did I want to sell it.Next day he came around for a look but was unsure about the colour
but liked the car.He went on his way I heard no more until he called me in April & asked if the car was still for sale.
He came around we struck a deal & car was sold.I belive she as gone to a good home.
