In fairness to Tim, you asked if you could enter a concours, he quite rightly said that there was no class for your car - he didn't say you couldn't come.
If you want to, you can join the AVO club as an associate member, you can park with the works team (there is no membership issues there). I'm afraid you can't join the SEOC and park with them as they haven't responded to us, so we assume they won't be coming - thus there will be no SEOC stand.
Bottom line is, just turn up, it'll cost you a fiver to get you, your car and everyone inside in to the show, you will receive a warm welcome and we'll park you with lots of people with similar cars to your own. Then you can decide if you want to be a member - no pressure one way or the other.
Simples.
