more pics of this item if available since i would not be seen it in
person so i can pay it right away I am always busy at work and do not
have much time around me.Make sure you get back to me so that we can
arrange for pick up as i will like the item to be picked at your
residence location,so no shipping

Is it safe to give out such details ,,

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest.
Take a good deposit via Paypal.
Get the full amount in cash on pickup then refund the deposit.
If he's genuin, which he maybe, then it won't be a problem.
I've bought cars without seeing them this way.

No that is just not correct. There is absolutely no harm in taking a deposit via Paypal, then the full amount in cash.
Also you just can't retract a payment. You can ask to have a payment retracted but if it is proved the goods have been handed over, IE a signed receipt or in the case of smaller goods a simple recorded postage receipt, Paypal will not retract the payment. Paypal is there for the seller as much as the buyer. Paypal have seen every scam under the sun from both sellers and buyers and is not run by idiots.
