I had been taking in lots of fumes on the tour so decided to sort a split breather and change the carb and the starter decided to fail hence my car sat on the grass at the front of Heaves ready to bump and it never stopped til I got home

That was me! Turned out to be a broken wire under the battery tray into the coil, bit of a lash up got us to the end of the tour and back up the road!

Thanks to everyone who stopped or slowed down to ask if they could help
