I had a really great time this weekend.It was good to put names to faces from this board and especially the people that helped with advice and encouraged me with my mexico restoration.The craic was great and i was made very welcome.
I was absolutely stunned by the positive reaction to the car and this was topped off by it winning a trophy for "best mk2 Escort RS" on saturday and a concours win on sunday in the novice class with the RSOC.
A big thankyou to everybody involved with the organisation.

Bless you father Oggie and all for the best weekend I've had in 20 years. This was our first Lakes tour for me and the wife and it was first class.
