Yeah over 100 they can't even consider lesser punishment than a ban.

If mitigating circumstances are such that he would lose his job, (as he needs to test drive cars for customers), the magistrate may be lenient.

Got caught in 2002 at an average speed of 113.4 mph and when it got to the court in 2003 was given 2 year ban ordered to resit an extended driving test and fined £450
Sherriff told me that he saw me as a menace to society and should think my self lucky not to be going to jail ,the old fart

Silly boy, as said, deffo a month's ban, probably 6 months and 400 quid fine. Not forgetting the court costs mind

I got my only points doing 40 mph in a 30 limit on a Sat morning on the way to work (dog tired from the weeks work) and in the "means form" I was asked to state my wages and my savings, I was dead broke at the time and had 100 quid to my name (unbeknownst to me Barclays had given it to me by mistake and I had to pay it back).

What did the bastards do, fined me 60 quid, normally a 30 quid fine and charged me 30 quid court costs, even though I admitted I was at fault and it never went to court. Then they wonder why people hate the police and the state

time to get an mk2 escort... the harsh ride, noise, 13inch wheels... makes 70mph feel well fast enough
